LONDON, June 20. The weather was showery, the attendance small, and there was a wet wicket for the Australian match agains.; Somerset.

Daniel won the toss and batted, but the Somerset batsmen were, unable to cope, with the bowling of Minuet and Matthews who bowled unchanged. Bisgocd was the only one to reach double figures.
