MASCOT BSOGRAPH PICTURES. A very appreciative audience witnessed the excellent picture display given in the Westland Opera House by tbe Mascot Biograph Company on Wednesday night. Among the films depicted were “Under Burning Skies” and “A King’s Jester,” “The Oxford Cambridge Boat Race,” and a number of other very interesting pictures.. Altogether the programme exceeded expectations and patrons spent a most enjoyable time. FRIDAY’S BENEFIT. A most deserving benefit is to bo given in the Westland Opera Hon so to-night, when the Mascot Biograph Picture Coy. will give an entertainment in aid of onr popular cx-gunrd, MV. P. Allavdyeo. The object is one that should meet with the hearty appiovnl of everyone, and, judging by tickets sold, tbe benefit should be a bngo success. A- splendid programme has been arranged including several vocal items.

POLLARD'S PICTURES. At the Princess Theatre on Monday night Mr. Pollard will present another of his all-star programmes. It rvill he welcome news to motion picture patrons to learn that besides the three programmes Mr. Pollard secures from John Fuller and Sons, he has completed arrangements with “Haywards. Ltd.” for one all new and all star programme per week. Tins will arrive overland every Thursday flight and will he shown in Greymouth on Friday and Saturday and hero on ’Monday: Th J first of those will ho screened on.
