BOILER BLOWS UP. SYDNEY, June IS.—A boiler explosion occurred in Jesmond Colliery, Wallsond. Three men were injured. SYDNEY, June 18.—The Director of Education, gave evidence to the South Australian Education Commission that the cost to the State for education was £922,000 in 1907 and £1,222,000 in 1911.
