The action of Archbishop Clark© against John Norton, editor of tho newspaper “Truth,” claiming £'5,000 damages, has commenced. It is alleged that the libel was contained in an article dealing with tho case of Canon Vash, wherein tho Archbishop was stigmatised as ’ a night-man, a pestilent parisite and inquisitor, and an Anglican anarchist. He was challenged to meet the writer in a Court of Law.
