LONDON, June 15. A groat Unionist demonstration was hold at Albert Hall in protest against tlio Home Rule Bill. The Rev*. Watkiusou declared that the Nonconformist members of the House of Commons had ceased to represent the Puritans, as they had become slaves to Party. He criticised the Nonconformist Divines for supporting Home Rule, one of whom, in a pamphlet, had produced a bucket of whitewash for the Nationalists and a bucket or two for his co-religionists. For the Nonconformists to descend from the lofty level and join the redhanded moon-lighters for the sake of political power was an unparalleled degradation.

The lit. Rev. J. H . Bernard, Bishop d Ossory (Ireland) said: ly you can ex pel us from our citizenship and heritage, our sons will not repeat the mistake of exaggerated loyalty.
