PALMERSTON N., June 15.—His Honour Mr. Justice Denniston upheld the appeal of the police against the deciison of Jhe Magistrate in the recent book-making case against Matthew Connolly. The Magistrate found Connolly was a bookmaker; but dismissed the information on the ground that it had not been proved that he committed the offence of betting as a bookmaker.
