HOKITIKA MARKET REPORT.
Messrs Mark Sprot and Co., report as follows for the week ending 15th, inst.: GRAIN AND PRODUCE. Chaff, prime Blenheim, (to arrive), £0; Chaff, Canterbury, £5 15s j Chaff, cow, per sack, 4s 6d. Oats, Gartons, 3s 3d per bushel; Oats, Sparrowbills, 3s Id per bushel. Wheat, w.f.w, 5s per bushel, 17s Cd sack linos. Pollard, la 9d per bushel, 16s 6d sack lines. Bran, Is Gd per bushel, 10s 6d sack lines. * Potatoes, 8s to 9s Gd per cwt. Onions, 14s per bag, 501bs Bs, 251bs 4s 3d; Hay (prime Blenheim), 5s Cd per truss.
During the week we hold a successful sale of clothing - on account of Budd and Coy. A small number of suits still loft will bo sold on Wednesday next when some excellent lines of new and up-to-date furniture will be offered.
Speculators and others are reminded of the opportunity offered on Wednesday afternoon next at the Mart, at 2.30 p.m., whoa that desirable town section p.t. Block 77, Revel] Street, with shop and office thereon, situated opposite the National Bank of Now Zealand will bo offered by public auction on account of MV. H. E. Hughes. We have for private sale two firstclass hotels in the Hokitika district. Particulars to those desirous of purchasing will be furnished on application.
