PDL.LARD’3 PICTURES.
Mr. Pollard will present No. 11 of his new scrioj of all-star pictures at the Princess Theatre to-night. The programme is a most varied one and embraces every branch at present known in motion-picture rad. “Carr’s Regeneration” is a powerful drama by the famous Vltagruph Company. It shows how: .an ungovernable temper was brought under control, or the regeneration of a brute in human form into a man of gentleness and peace. “The Old Bookkeeper” is another drama with a strong, pathetic story, while lovers of Western life will ho delighted with “The llauchmau’s Daughter.” The comedy element is especially strong, while the topical scene and natural history studies will ho extremely interesting. The program* me to-morrow night will he entirely new as to-night’s must leave for Christchurch in the morning.
