HOKITIKA EASTER SPORTS.

The weather for the Easter Sports .gathering, held on Cass Square on Mou- ; day, was beautifully fine, and there was a large assemhlance of the public, including many visit*?.. The programme of events was promptly got off. and the officials worked with a will to make the meeting a success. During the afternoon W. Blackmun who was paced by a motor ridden by E. Toohey, 'succeeded in reducing the mile bicycle record for the local ground by seven seconds. Mr. J. J. Mclntosh had charge of the booth and apepared to do a good business.
