Tennis players bad another fine day yesterday. The Ladies' Championship Doubles, Men's Championship Doubles, and Men's Championship Singles were £ll played and owing to these* events taking up so much time, the handicap events are still to be played out. These should he completed to-day. Good tennis was witnessed in the finals: Misses Enright and J. Bailie v. Mrs WiTßamsand Miss Michel; Messrs Wake and Beare v. Wilson and Trent.; and in the finals of the Mens' Championship Singles, there was a ding dong go between Wake and Chalk from start to finish. Though Chalk was beaten, hfs game was very sound, and deserves the highest praise. There were a large nnmber of visi--Itors throughout the day, the, different 'contests being very keenly watched. The Ladies' Committee supplied refreshments throughout tho day and were kept, very busy. Play will commence at 9.30 a.m. to-, day.
