ADELAIDE, April, 18.—The steamer Mooltan was quarantined on arrival, as there is a case of smallpox aboard. The victim is a second-class Australian passenger who joined the vessel at India. MELBOURNE, April, 18.—Strict pro cautions in connection with the smallpox outbreak on the Mooltan are being taken. On arrival here she was quarantined and her passengers vaccinated. Passengers, who landed at Fremantle, have been ordered to report themselves.
