ADDINGTON LIVE STOCK MARKET

There was a large entry of all classes of stock and a good attendance. Store sheep met with a good sale, fat lainsh were firm, tegs showing a rise, fat cattl«> were without change, and pigs w ere dull of sale. Fat sheep showed a rise in price, stoic cattle were dull of sale, and there was a moderate demand for dairy cows. STORE SHEEP.

The yarding of store sheep was not quite as large as the previous week, and the offerings were mostly of back ward sorts. There was a keener demand for ewes, and prices wore better by Is per head; wethers sold at about last week’s rates ; and rape lambs were down about Is. Two-tooth ewes made 14s to 14s Gd, four-tooths 13s to 17s, and sound-mouthed 8s lid to 15s.
