Word was then sent through to Palmerston, andf a motor car was sent out to meet the trio and bring thorn into town.

The prisoner is now safely lodged in gaol again, and, needless to say, wdl not he given any more chances. When captured, Powclka was wearing an overcoat, and was carrying a swag and hilly. No trace lias yet boon found of the bicycle belonging to Mr I rank Kendall, which Powclka got away on.
