COMING lIV SPECIAL BEQUEST. The management of Pollard’s Opera Company having had to cancel their dates for Hokitika could not see any possibility of playing a season in this town-. However, Mr Pollard, yielding to innumerable requests and wishing to give tbc public of Hokitika an opportunity of seeing the famous “Miss Hook of Holland” will, by straining a point, present the above opera at the Princess Theatre on Saturday next. It is quite unnecessary lo refer to the merits of the Pollard Company or the consideration shown Hokitika patrons by their playing in Hokitika on Saturday next. As there is not the slightest possibility of the season being extended, those who purpose seeing “Miss Hook (ff Holland should book their seats at once, as there is bound to be a great rush on the seating accommodation of the Theatre.
