RIMU MINERS' ASSOCIATION

, A meeting" of the Executive of the , above Association was held at Bimu . last night when all the members were . present, Mr T. Borkin, President in ! th-i chair. The meeting dealt with the alleged protest which the Minister fw . Mines wired that he had received from miners in Ijtimu and unanimously adopted the following resolution— - That the Hon. the Minister for Public Works and Mines be resjffectfully asked, for a copy of the prov test or objections which- he has rew ceived from miners of Bimu in reference to the important proposition under review, and that he be asked to make a special .effort to visit the district to make, himself -personally acquainted with the conditions, prevailing. It was also arranged -to call- a public meeting to be held on Monday night the 28th inst to deal witk th» subject.
