CANADA'S NAVAL ATTITUDE.

Mr Brodeur, 'replying to a deputation at Mon-! trea'l on the naval question, dealt with Canada's position. % Three proposals, he stated had been put forward. Canada might offer two Dreadnoughts, ahe jnight contribute annual round sum, or mi^ht establish a Canadian naval militia. - The last idea was most favoured by the Canadian Government, and the Opposition also supported it. Mr Brodeur ' added that if only one dry dock was built in Canada the best fe' location would be Quebec. j
