HOKITIKA'S LIBRARY FOUNDERS
(To the Editor.) Sib,— la the opening of the Free Public Library yesterday, His Worship the Mayor, was in error in stating several gentleman were the founders of the Hokitika Reading Room and Library. The two prinoipal persons who were rssponaible for the same, were Mr W A Reid (late Solioitor«General), who was at the time of the firm of Button aad Reid, and myself.
