The City Council.-* foreman reported that a blasting accident occurred »t the atone- crusher at Mx>ont Eden. One of the men was lo«din){ a powder hole and while puttiDg the powder down to the bottom of the bole with a tsmping bar nn explosion occurred. A man named William Heares had his arms badly lacerated below the tbe hemoirhage being very bad. His right leg was nho burc. He was *<>nt to the hospital Another man named Benjamin Smith had tbe back of his rit>ht hand skinned aud bis left arm hurt.
