Annual Meeting

Highly Successful Year's Operations.

The annual meeting of the shareholders of the Kokatahi Co-operat : ve Dairy Compiny was held ia the Public Hal 1 , Kokatahj, on Saturday afternoon. All the directors and a number of the shareholders were present, Mr Me Arthur presided over a very pleasant meeting.

The balance sheet showed a surplus of £450. Ibe Chairman and Aupitor's rtptrs were approved and adopted.

A bonus of three-farthings per 1b on the butter fat supplied during tie year, and a dividend of 6 per cent on paid up capital was .ordered to be paid out, The question of obtaining cheesemaking plants was discussed at length, and the matter was finally held over for future consideration.

The three retiring directors, Messrs McArthur, Dimmick aod Heslan were anaoimously re-elected, the shareholders considering their past services demanded this compliment.

A word of praise Was given to Messrs StephtnaoD and Go. for the prompt and business like way in which they had oarried out all transactions, alto to tbe directors and officers for their share in the success of last year's operations. Mr Amberger, in iitroducing tbit matter, made a very pleasant litth> speeca. It was decided to increase thi remuneration of the directors.
