UNDERPAID FEMALE LABOUR.
Sydney July 26.
A confidential report on labour conditions in Sydney that has been obtained by the State Premier shows that extraordinary sweating prevails* in the dressmakiug and nrllinery business in (he city. The report discloses that nearly on<s thousand girls are receiving only five shillings a week and less. The Premier says that he intends to fix a minimum wage for juvenile labour.
