These two agreements have been com* municated to Germaay and. the other great Powers. Paris, June 17. M. Pichon, French Minister of Foreign Affiiys, in an interview, " declared that the Fraaco-Spanuh arrangement, besides seeking, to maintain the status quoj which, o>in^to the>roximity of the respective '_ '-posse/sions, could not be modified without injuring the two Powers, is essential to their interests and assured the security of communication with such posseesioas. He said the two amngements were &n excellent guarantee of peace. Le Temps says the agreements are purely diplomatic.
