In the House of Commons, the Prime Minister, Sir Henry Campbell-Banner-man,gavj notice of the following resolution in regard to the House of Lords, for discu33ion on tho 24th inst ; — "That, in order to giva effect to tbe will of the people, as expressed 'oy their elected represent it : ves, it is necessary that the powe r of the other Honae to alter or reject; Bills be so restricted by law as to secure that wifcbin tbe limits of a Brngle8 r ngle Parliament the final decioion of tho House of Oommons shall prevail."
Tbe Unionist papers ridicule the Grov* ernrnent'a proposed action.
