Riders were added to the effect that the bye laws rela'ing to vehicle traffic should be enforced on tho trams ; that motormen should pass an examination other than that by the Company's officer*} ; that someone should be appointed by the Couucil to see that the speod does not endanger the lives of the public ; that a Royal Commission be set up to enquire into iho entiro working of tho tramway system.
