Lnvekcakgill, Jan 4 A fire at Winton destroyed the premises ot A Jameson (baker), J Watson (storekeeper), Liddel (saddler), Kennedy (hairdresser), Tilley (jeweller^. In-ur-an — Jamieaon £1200 in the Commerc, 1 Union), Watson in the Manchester, Tilley JE2SO in the Manchester.
Eltuam, Jan 4 The fruit emporium of Wadey and Newlove was totally destroyed by fire. The occupants had a narrow escape. Th^re was no insurance on the stock, the owners estimating the loss at £30 \ including £90 holiday cash takings. The building was owned by Chew Choug, and vns insured for £300 in the Victoria office
