THE PREMIER PRESENTS WESTLAND'S CASKET

The Acting Premier received the following cablegram from Mr Seddon dated London 12th August ; — 1 have received the Coronation medal ac the hand of His Majesty the King to-day-I presented the address from the Colony and the Westland casket, tho Maori house and Maori address. All were graciously accepted by His Majesty who expressed bis pleasure personalty at their unique and interesting character and said they would always remind him of his loyal subjects in New Zealand. .
