Rt Hon G. H. Reid is continuing the revenue tariff campaign through the States. He opened in Victoria with a large meeting at Richmond.
Sir G. Turner has announced that Mr Peacock will be his successor as State Premier. (Received Jan 22 at 10.29 p.m.)
Sydney, Jan 22
Sir Wilfred Laurier cabled to Mr Barton that he hoped to attend the opening of the Federal Parliament.
