AQUATICS.
Dunedin, Dec 27
The strong south-west gale which prevailed throughout yesterday had moderated to a stiff breeze to-day but it was too strong to permit of the rowing events at the Port Chalmers regatta being got off. These were therefore postponed. Leader won the champion yacht race. Daisy won the second class yacht race, White Wings, 2. Carbine won the 20 feet Open Boat race and Waitangi, the all corneas open boat race. The attendance was only moderate. . .
