CHRIBTCHUKCH, Dec 9. At a meeting of the C.J.C., there was some conversation regarding the chance of the owner of the crack Australian three year-old Aurum being tempted to send him to N.Z. It was resolved that if he could be induced to come the Club would give stakes of £1000, l£ miles, weight for age, to be run for by all comers, at the Autumn meeting. Masterton, Dec 9. The Hack Hurdles was won by Raupo 11, paying £2 13s & £1 14s. Maiden Hack — Dareen. Divs £3 4s & £2 17s. Masterton Cvp — King's Bowman, 1 ; Tupu, 2. Won hard held. Time 2min 12 3-sth sees.
