COLONIALS AT HOME.

Lo>, don, July 14. The Colonial troops were entertained at Croydon. Much enthusiasm was displayed. In the special competition at Bisley at 200 and 500 yards, Hawker, Downey and Sloanc, Victorians, made the highest possible. Sir Wilfred Laurier was banquotted at the Canada Club. In the course of a speech ho said Canada required more population. He promised industrious emigrants 16G acres of fertile land.
