POSTAL NOTICES.
MAIIS CLOSE. For East Coast South America, United Kingdom, Continent of Europe, Madeira, etc. (per R.M.S. Arawa) overland to Christchurch, on Monday, November 12th afc 1 p.m. This mail is due in London on 27th December. The overland Christchurch mails, will close afc 730. p.m. on Monday's and Thursday's instead of 7 p.m. Late letters bearing a late fee in postage stamps, for the above mails may be posted until 5. a.m. on Tuesday's and Fridays. The late fee in all cases is: for places beyond the colony, an extra rate of postage ; for delivery within the colony, one penny additional postage. A weekly mail from Hokitika to Okarito will be despatched every Monday at 2 p.m. The parcel mails and registration mails close afc all Post offices, one hour before the closing of every mail. J.
