OTAGO DUMMYISM.
Dunedin, April 4.
The Land Board to-day carried the resolution proposed 'last week by Mr Stout with, regard to alleged dummyism. The question^ is to the effect that Mr Cargill, who acted as agent for several purchasers, should be asked Certain questions and it was added to the motion that Mr Cargill might reply in writing or orally.
THE TREASURERS REQUEST. ' Dunedin, April 4. The Treasurer has been asked to visit Lawrence and deliver an address there, and has replied that he will do so if time will permit, but he fears that he will not be able to do so on this visit.
