ACQUITTAL OF A CHARGE OF MURDER.
GREAT FIRE IN SYDNEY.
Brisbane, Sept. 26, Alice Normald lias been acquitted on the charge of murdering two children at RbckharaptoD, in July last Sydney, Sept 26. A most destructive fire occurred last night in the Haycbai'ket, on the premises occupied by Tillock & Co.. wholesale grocers. The stock and building, it has been ascertained, were insured for £10,500, of which £1000 is held by the New Zealand Company.
