WRITTEN TENDERS will be re ceived, at this office, until NOON on MONDAY, the loth October, 1881, for the construction of FIVE MILES of the above ROAD, viz ;— Sections 14 to 18. both inclusive. Tenders are to be marked on the outside, •« Tender for Mahitahi River to Haast Eiver Road," and addressed to the Chief Surveyor of Westlaud. Plans, Drawings, Specifications, &c, for inspection at the Survey Office, Hokitika ; Warden's Office, Okarito ; and Mr Ward's Paringa river. The lowest or any tender not necessarily accepted.
