In this respect we have nothing worth record. There has been a sitting of the District Court, the only criminal case being a charge of lnrmiy against au express driver, in which the accused was acquitted. In the Insolvency sittings, a large number of bankrupts advanced a siage, or obtained their final discharges. In the Resident Magistrate's Court, though thp.re have been a great many civil i.'iises tried, there havo been no offences of moment brought before the Bench.
