POSTAL NOTICE.

MAILS CLOSE Thes.s. Tararua having been subsidised, it is iutended that she shall convey the English mail from H.kitika on the 25th inst. ; but as rough weather may possibly prevent communication with her, letters, &c, for the United Kingdom, ludia, China, America, the Cape of Oxood Hope, the Continent of Europe, &c, &c, will be received till 5 p.m., this day (Monday), for despatch by coach on the 21st December. All correspondence for the Euglish mail posted after that time, and on or before the 25th December, will (weather permitting) be forwarded by the subsidised steamer on the labt mentioned date. A.
