Government Notices. ELECTION NOTICE. ARAHURA ROAD DISTRICT. TN PURSUANCE of the provisions of -*- an Act of the General Assembly of New Zealand, entitled "The County of Westland Act, 1867," I, Charles Cockburn Schaw, Returning Officer for the Road District of Arahura, do hereby give notice that an Election for the return of one qualified person, to serve as a Member of the Road Board for the said District, in the room of William M'Lean, resigned, and that the Nomination of Candidates will take place at the Warden's Court, Stafford Town, on Tuesday, the 6tn October, 1868, at. 10 o'clock p.m., and that the Poll (if necessary) will be taken on Wednesday, the 14th October, 1868.
