Hobart Tows. — Tho "Meronrj" of the 13:h instant, reports: —
We quote flour at, £17 per ton, and wheat nt 6s 9d to 7s per bushel. The agricultural statistics published by Government thow a very considerable surplus of wheat in tho country, but they aYe not generally coniiUcreil reliable. English barley is luw in prico, but owing chiefly to the careless way ia which it is prepared for the market.
Lausceston. — The " Examiner" of the 13th iii3laut, in its mail summary •states : —
£1(5 has been offered for flour, but refused, and another pound demanded ; but these terms have been again declined. Wheat, of which there is little in town, cannot be quoted higher i han 6s Gd ; but there is no inclination to do business at present.
