NEWS FROM EUROPE to JULY 9 ; AMERICA, JULY 9.
Wellington, Aug. 18, 1868. The P.N.Z. and A.R.M. s.s. Kaikoura arrived in harbor this morning at 7.30. She left Panama at noon on the 21st of July, and arrived at Opara on the 6th. Passengers — For Wellington : Mr B. Lewis, Master Lewis, Lord Burghley and servant, Messrs C. A. Cornish, Loverock, Crawford, Mr and Mrs Hood, Mr Stone, Mr Driscott, Mrs Gaunaway and child. For Canterbury — Right Rev. Dr. Harper (Bishop of Christchurcb), wife and daughter, Mr Rogan, Miss Hall, Mr and Mrs Tancred, nurse and child, Ca3S, Gres3on, Maxwell, G. C. Price, A. D. Price and son. For the Bluff— Mr White. For Melbourne — Messrs Murray and Castle. For Auckland— The Right Rev. Dr. Selw)n (Bishop of Leichfield) and Mrs Selwyn, Messrs Keaue, Lewis, Vaile, Selwyn, and Graham, Mr and Mrs Davener and four children, Mrs Potter and child, Mr Ripley. For Sydney — Messrs Watson, Collie, Mrs Stewart and two children.
