MAILS CLOSE. For Melbourne and the Australian Colonies, per s.s. Omeo, this day, at 10 a.m. For Sydney and Brisbane, per s.s. Egmont, this day, at 10.30 a.m. Invercargill, per s.s. Southland, this day, at 10.30 a.m. Christ church, Dunediu, and Invercargill, per coach, this day, at 5 p.m. For Arahura, Six Mile, Teremakau, and Greymoutb, per coach, this day, at 5 p.m. Note. — On and after the Ist January, 1868, letters posted in the County of Westland for delivery at- places beyond the limits of such County, will be charged the inter-provincial rate of postage, viz., under half an ounce, 3d. ; over half an ounce and under one ounce, 6d. ; for every additional ounce or fraction of an ounce, 6d.
