The " Argus " of the 13th instant says : — Little of very special consequence has been allowed to transpire in the import markets to-day, the week having closed without adding materially to tho business reported at an earlier period. Flour has been disposed of in parcels at Lls 10a for Victorian, and up to Ll6 for small lots. Sales of wheat to a moderate extent continue to be effected at 6s 6J to 6s 9d. Maize is very steady at 4s 2d ; sales, however, have' not been extensive. A fair inquiry i 3 maintained for tea, at 2s for fine medium congous. There has been more inquiry for candles ; and we hear of trade sales at 12* d for best brands. Sugars aro still moved oil' very freely at 349 to 355. Of brewing crystals we hear of 550 bags having been closed for at those figures. A lino of 200 drums of colza oil has been sold for shipment at 4s 9d, in bond. Holders of prepared opium have been enabled to establish a slight advance, and the price now realised is 255. Iv liquids, sales of JDKZ geneva are mentioned at 42s 6d ; and wo learn that buyers of Henncssy's case brandy havo been compelled to pay 27s 6d. On Monday (to-day) Messrs Frasor and Co. will hold an extensive sale of teas and tobacco.

We have been favored by Messrs J. C. Robertson and Co with tho following tea telegram :—"Foo-Chow,: — "Foo-Chow, Nov. 30. — Owing to discouraging advices, few buyers of any extent have appeared for the English market
