POSTAL NOTICE.
On and after tho Ist of January, 1867, the following rates of postage will be charged on all letters and newspapers posted in Now Zealand for delivery within the colony :—: — r. — TOWN IiETTERS. Posted at any post ollice witliin tho colony for delivery at or from such post office : — Nob exceeding hulf-an-ounce ... Id. Exceeding half-an-ounce, but not exceeding one ounce . . . 2d. For every ounce, or fraction of an ounce over one ounce ... 2d. II. — COtTJS'TRY LETTERS. i Posted at any posb ollice within the colony for delivery at or from any other post office within the same province : — Not exceediug half-an-ouncc ... 2d. Exceeding half-au-ounce, but not exceeding one ounce ... 4d. For every ounce, or fraction of an ounce over one ounce ... 4d. 111. — INIEBPBOVINCIAIi BETTERS. Posted at any post office wifchin tho colony for delivery at or from any post office in any other province within tho colony : — Not exceeding half-an-ounce ... 3d. Exceeding half-an-ounce, but not exceeding one ouuco ... 6d. For every ouuee, or fraction of an ounce over oao ounce ... Gd. On all Newspapers posted witbiu tho colony for delivery within the colony, Ono Penny each.
