Publications. NEW WEEKLY PAPER ON SATURDAY, THE 3ed JATJGUST, Was Published, the First Number of A WEEKLY JOURNAL OP NEWS, POLITICS, AND LITERATURE. The object of the Publishers is to furnish a full resume of the history of the week to those who have not the leisure to read the daily newspapers, or who have not convenient access to them. All the events of tho week will be carefully recorded, and intelligence will be given by electbic telegeaph and otherwise, to the latest moment before publication. The literary department of The Despatch will comprise Comments on the Public Events of the Day, Original Essays, and Tales and other Selections from the current periodical literature. The Despatch will be marked by many special features, including " Notes and Queries," Popular Games, Columns for Family Reading, and Local Sketches and Notabilia. To meetthe convenience of all classes, the price of the Despatch has been fixed at Sixpence. A very large Town Cibctjlation is anticipated. ADVERTISEMENTS will be charged at the following rates :—: — For first insertion, 3s per inch. For each subsequent insertion, Is 6d per inch, Advertisement will be received at the office, up lo the evening preceding the day of publication.
