over Morgan's claim. That it was npcessary to appoint a manager to look after the race. The cash in hand was 7s 6d, and that L 6 16s was due from Johnson's party, being 17s a man, also 7s due from Cummins, and 3s from Hill. Morgan and party had paid L 3 Bs, but had applied for a refund of half the amount, as there were only two shareholders in the claim when the race was cut in November, and they had paid for four, It was proposed by Mr Moye, seconded by Mr Hay, " That 150 feet of covered fluming be placed in the tail-race on Morgan and party's claim at the expense of the Company, with the understanding that if Morgan and party require any further portion covered, it must be done at their expense." Proposed by Mr Moye, and seconded by Mr Paulsen, -'That the sum of L 4 be accepted from Johnson and party in settlement of the Company's claim on them.
