OTAGO.
The " Otago Times " of the 28th ult. reports as follows :—: —
The fine weather has induced a rather better demand, and trade seems inclined to improve. A few orders to hand from the West Coast, and some descriptions of goods have been looked for for shipment. Among importers, no considerable transactions have transpired, nor will such probably be the case until the correspondence via Panama has been received. No alterations in prospects or values of any staples furnish occasion for notice.
