Slingo-and Co. v. Welsh and Co. — The defendants were summoned for holding surplus ground at Toker's terrace. Judgment for plaintiff with costs of Court; but defendants to have choice of ground, measuring from any two of their pegs according to present boundary. /The following were the assessors chosen :— Michael Carmin, Joseph Nicholas, Frederick Achilles and Archibald M'Phun Smith. Nicholas and party v. Cummins and party. — The defendants were summoned for erecting dam across Callaghan's creek and refusing to remove it. Cate withdrawn on the understanding that a moveable sluice-box be put into centre of dam, so as to allow of its being raised in flood time to put off sludge. This, however, subject to revision if proved ineffectual; second, or upper dam to be removed.
