This Tramway has already been completed for nearty a mile towards the beach, and, within the last week, about LIOO have been expended upon it, in reducing the gauge, and covering it with a coat of gravel ballast, and, at the present time it can compare favorably with any other line on the West Coast. The whole plant will be sold at a moderate valuation and on liberal terms to a responsible purchaser, or any ncwlyformed company, who would be willing to extend the line to the beach. About LBOO would suffice to carry the line to the beach, when the traffic would ensure a large return. The important mining claims round the township Avill shortly be entirely dependent on the Tramway for all their supplies of firewood, &c, &c, and this trade alone will be a large source of income.
