Tory Boy, improving his position at every stride, went up and passed Panic between tho rails; and Riverina, emerging from tho ruck, mado an effort, but failed to catch the leader — Tory Boy winning by a length. Distance, two miles. Time, 3 minutes 44 seconds. On coming into the yard a' protest was lodged against Tory Boy for crossing Panic during the raco, but it was overruled. It is understood that the winner will gain £GOOO to £3000 iv addition to the stakes.
