WELLINGTON, Last Night (P.A.).—Mr. T. H. Stephenson, secretary of the Engine-drivers Firemens and Cleaners association, whose national executive has not been associated with the strike declaration, said tonight that his executive had met on Saturday and into Saturday night. The meeting continued all day on Sunday. Mr. Stephenson said: ‘Tn view of the combined conference called for Tuesday between the executive of the Federation of Labour and the General division organisations to discuss the A.S.R.S. strike, we have no comment to make at this juncture.”
