Britain's First Sky-Scraper Hospital
St. ALBANS.—Britain's first skyscraper hospital is being planned here. Eight storeys high, the hospital will have 300 beds, a swimming pool and a gymnasium for patients. The vertical style has been chosen because planners believe it will reduce the distance travelled by patients and stait, journeys by lift bein’? quicker and less tiring. The swimming pool and gymnasium will be built to help patients strengthen meak muscles.—Reuter.
