Malayan Dental Nurses To Train In N.Z.
WELLINGTON, Last Night (PA).— Two Malayan dental nurses will come to New Zealand in March next for advanced training under an arrangement which is being made between the New Zealand Government and the Government of the Federation of Malaya,” announced the Minister of External Affairs (Mr Doidge) today. “Already in Malaya, with the assistance of a New Zealand dental nurse who visited the country on leave, several Malayan hospital nurses have been trained as school dental nurses on the lines of the New Zealand system,” said Mr Doidge. “It is intended that the two nurses should undertake postgraduate training with the school dental service so that they may become sister-tutors in Malaya."
